My Story
Julie Blank is a real estate investment expert and a recognized Woman of Influence by GlobeSt.com. After a career writing within the real estate and business sector, she makes her literary non-fiction memoir debut with Beyond The Rainbow.
Both analytical and introspective, Blank embodies a duality of left and right brain, melancholic and choleric, but unquestionably an introvert. After years of writing in the shadows, she unveils with a deep personal work with her first novel.
Widowed at 32 with three-year-old twin boys, Blank confronted a second profound transformation when, 18 years later, her twins became a son and daughter. A child’s gender transition and a paradigm shift of her own, Beyond The Rainbow is written in raw, unguarded form as she shares her vulnerable story to foster compassionate empathy for others and her tools used to navigating similar journeys.
Born in Louisville, KY, Blank holds a Certified Public Accountant designation and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. Her path led her from the South to Southwest, and ultimately to nearly two decades in Southern California.

The Story
Behind The Juice
For as long as I can recall, I responded when someone addressed me as Juice. I never understood how I became trained to respond to a name that wasn’t mine. Not even a name but a beverage.
Curious how I obtained this fruity delight in my childhood, I went to the source. My mom explained during meals, I chose to drink the beverage in front of me sacrificing the food on my plate as I filled my stomach with liquid, leaving no room for sustenance. She attempted to encourage me to put the juice down and eat my food. After my continued defiance, she would take away my juice. After my mom’s constant repetition of the word juice when she disciplined me at mealtime, it simply became the word she used to address me. Juice.
I relate the nickname to only joyful and loving moments and people. For when I got in trouble as a child, my mom didn’t use my nickname but my given first and middle name instead…. “Julie Dianne!” I heard that a lot growing up. Even today, my mom still hollers “Julie Dianne” when I pick on my older sister. Somethings never change.
Each time the name Juice leaves someone’s lips and touches my ears, it reaches my heart. Hearing Juice brings me joy and love, because those that call me Juice know me the best and bring me joy and love.
I continue to this day to stay true to my nickname. But my choice of beverage has changed a bit. I added champagne to my juice and moved from water to wine. Somethings never change.
I’m 100% Juice from Concentrate. Nothing artificial here. Simply authentic.
